Buena Vista

"For beginners in wine-field-knowledge,take note of the wine you've drank or tasted, and write down your opinion. Open the wine bottle and let it breathe for a while, then drink and take note after 15mins and 30 mins the wine is opened, some might taste different....."

I always thought that its quite cool to have knowledge about liqueur ,its such a wide field of knowledge.Okay, well...after listening to that simple advice that i heard from the wine-warehouse-sale,i'll give it a try then...my first wine after hearing that is "Buena Vista-Merlot". The 1st day, i found it quite strong and yet, not that tasty, doesn't smells very nice(but strong too),and its not very smooth. 2nd day was much smoother than the first day, tasted lighter (i wonder if its the "chill" that make the different...now, its d third day i'm drinking it, much smoother as well(for me,easier to drink and swallow....Its not a very expensive wine, its about $16 to $20,which is about RM30++ to RM 60++.

This wine contains 12.5% alcohol, was founded in 1857 by Count Agoston Haraszhty, Buena Vista is widely considered to be the birthplace of California wine. With his vision and persistence for ultimate quality,Haraszthy, known today as the father of California viticulture, firmly established the destiny of the California wine industry.

That's a short & simple intro about the wine, now i shall enjoy it slowly....cheers :)

Not Without My Sister

One of my favourite hobby is reading,as it is the cheapest way to go into a total different world, and fast. Just have to open a book and u're there. I went into this shop call "Pay-Less-Book" one day, what drew my attention that day was not the books but the quotes on the walls...such as:"Reading gives someplace to go when we have to stay where we are","Reading is to the mind what exercise is to the body","A room without books is a body without soul"....
Lately i JUST finish reading this book "Not without my sister".It is a true story of three sisters born and suffered the practices of a cult who called themselves "Children of God",which is now known as "The Family International".
These 3 sisters relive their experiences how they survived-and then escaped- a cult that has claimed the lives and innocence of thousand of its members. They were a world away from the real understanding of 'love' and 'forgiveness'.The organisation that was entrusted with their care practised physical and mental torture, thought control, pornography(its like their education text book,or daily bible!), prostitution and horrific acts of sexual abuse.
From as early as 3 years ole, the 3 sisters were treated by their 'guardians' as sexual beings. They received love letters and sexual advances from men old enough to be their grandfathers, and were to formal schooling, forced to wander the streets begging for money, and were mercilessly beaten for "crimes"(like day dreaming, reading encyclopedia...etc)
Its a horrific story of perversion and loss but, ultimately, an account of immense love and immeasurable bravery.....

Treasure Hunt

This is the 3rd time i went treasure hunting. First miracle in treasure hunting broke through tonight! this group: Shaun, Andrew, Tina, & Phik Li prayed for an Indian guy who suffer quite a few of sicknesses : shoulder pain, back pain, some skin disease with black rashes, heart prob....etc, and he got healed! His shoulder felt much better, back pain was gone and they actually saw the black rashes on his hand fading away! That's so awesome, i must see that with my own eyes someday. And so he accepted Christ on the spot, and said that he will for SURE visit our church and testify what Lord had done for him. Andrew took a short video of how the guy was amazed after he's been prayed.Other groups prayed for some people who they found through their treasure map...

This is like we've just pressed the "start" button, greater treasures are more to come...we're asking God and believing to see more miracles like blind eyes open, deaf ears unlock, cripple legs grows....i believe they're on their way....
